This 2.5″ vacuum hose port adapter will allow you to convert your shop vac or dust extractor to the HoseJoy magnetic connector system so you can connect any size hose quickly and easily without fiddling with hard-to-press buttons, tabs, or clamps. The *true N52 grade* magnets coupled with the rubber compression rings create a removable but extremely secure attachment point on your vac — strong enough to tug your vac around by the hose. The 2.5″ (2.25″ ID) port is one of the few truly universal sizes in the dust collection world, so this adapter will fit 99% of shop vacs and dust extractors from Shop-Vac, Ridgid, Craftsman, Vacmaster, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Husky, Festool, Makita, Bosch, Metabo, Hilti, and even the older generation Fein (pictured). This is the FEMALE end — in our system, the male end points toward the vacuum source, and the female end points toward the tool. *Note that these adapters are designed to work with our tool adapters, hose adapters, and blast gates, sold separately.*
