This ball valve blast gate doesn’t restrict air at all, never clogs, and shuts airtight. One end is designed to fit over standard 4″ PVC pipe, and the other end has a female magnetic connector that accepts our U4 series magnetic hose connectors and size-down adapters. *Note that these ball valves are designed to work with our flex hose adapters, sold separately. If you would like one that connects to PVC pipe on both ends, just message us! We also offer these in the U2 size that will connect to 2″ and 2.5″ PVC and our 2.5″ magnetic hose adapters.*

Designed for home workshops and pro shops alike, this connector uses powerful N52 neodymium magnets and premium rubber 0-rings to create a secure, airtight fit between hoses and the tool. How to use this adapter:
Attach one end of the ball valve to the PVC pipe coming from your dust collector; attach a magnetic hose adapter (U4-001, available here separately) to the other end. Open and close the valve by rotating the lever handle 90 degrees until it hits the stops, or anywhere in between to dial in the flow or balance between two running tools.
